In the Human Design system of Maia Mechanics, Justin Penoyer is very talented case. With a profile of 1 / 4, his primary personality is all about “research and investigation” while the secondary personality seeks opportunities through the central chest chakra aka the Compassionate Heart. In the realm of Human Design, all 1 / 4 profiles have enormous talent when they apply themselves and respond to opportunities. Justin is a Generator, one of the most powerful and simple beings in the system and on Earth.

His authority, as a solar plexus based being, allows for emotional processing of information and decisions and one of the most important truths for Justin is his choice to take a few moments or longer to “feel into” a situation or decision. As with few others, his design lends itself to a very pure form of intuition and feeling based authority. Human Design also describes an unique medically intuitive talent through “openness” of the Spleen chakra.

There is much to be said also about how Venus affects our friend Justin, because it is truly profound. Being born with Venus aspecting your chart in such ways as he has would indicate a deep sense of honor, virtue, and respect for tradition. At a glance of the chart and at the life of Mr. Penoyer, I would keenly observe his acts as following the “standards of a Confucian Man”, the code of Chivalry, or the way of classical gentleman.

The rave chart from the Human Design system points out that seven out of the eight Tantric Channels of transformation are active in his body. This creates a sensory-being filled with guidance and compassion from the heart and gut-instinct. The Channel of Mating is active, this involves the I-ching hexagrams 6-59. This channel focuses a being “on reproduction,” which is serendipitous due to his profession as a fertility doctor. I like to joke that he has a 110% success rate when treating fertility issues. In fact my astrology says I’m unlikely to have children, and after a treatment from Justin, I received surprising news of my fatherhood!

All of his channels connect and bridge all of his energy centers in a manner we call single definition. This is a lovely feature within a birth chart because the individual often feels “complete unto themselves.” Serendipity is again at work within Justin as he is usually in the right place at the right time. Besides his love-based guidance system (Heart chakra), he has the energy of the second heart, the motor-like Courageous Heart. This makes Justin and other natives incredibly reliable and often steadfast to keep their word (of honor).

Through sidereal astrology we know Justin is a native born with Venus and the Moon in the first house. Venus is considered a very beneficial planet as I mentioned before. Careers involving love are usually ideal for these people. Because of this planet’s influence there is natural charm and he tends to behave in a pleasing, agreeable manner. Justin’s Sun resides in the 12th house with Pisces (again pleasant and spiritualizing). People with this have deep compassion for the suffering of any fellow creature and often feel others’ pain as if it were your own.

First hand I have experienced him as a compassionate empath and an intuitive natural healer. Sun in the 12th house also indicates involvement with professions of an occult or hidden nature thus affirming Justin’s connections to esoteric medicine and occult acupuncture. When Justin or any of us communicate, the planet Mercury’s position has a major effect on us. In his case Mercury is in Aquarius, and allows Justin to communicate progressively and be open to new ideas. This will also play a major role in the next stage of his training as a healer as Aquarius generally associates with astrologically learnings and soon he will be using Traditional Chinese Medicine along with astrological techniques to aid in the diagnosis and healing process within his practice. Justin is a team player and communicates thusly because of the position of Mercury in the 11th house. Should he choose to, someday he would be a great political speaker or representative for an organization.

Hopefully this touches on the points of interest within the chart of our dear friend and healer, Justin Penoyer. It is my personal interest to watch him as he grows and advances, ever expanding towards compassion and courage in his own honest and virtuous way. I’ve received treatments from Justin for pain and emotions. He is by far the most intuitive healer within the field of TCM that I’ve experienced.
